Kipchumba Murkomen, the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator and Leader of Majority in the Senate had it rough when he took to social media to question National Super Alliance's political activities. In a post seen by TUKO.co.ke, Murkomen wondered when the opposition brigade intended on swearing in opposition leader Raila Odinga as president, weeks after the Judiciary swore in President Uhuru Kenyatta for a second and final term on Tuesday, November 28.

Opposition supporters were, however, not in the mood for Murkomen's queries, and took him down a peg:

According to prior NAIEXPOSE.co.ke reports, the opposition swore to swear in Raila as president based on the August 8 General Election results if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission declared President Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto as the winners of the October 26 repeat presidential election.
NASA, prior to the repeat poll, withdrew their candidature from the election, claiming the outcome was already pre-determined and there was no need for them to vie then. Based on this alone, NASA decried electoral malpractise in the country, claiming that IEBC and Jubilee Party colluded to rig the election in Uhuru's favour.
